They all look like immature water oak leaves. Young water oak leaves start out all odd looking (like a mix between Willow and water oak), but as they got older they start to turn normal. Willow and water oak can hybridize though.

Yep I've seen both of those pages before.
It could or could not be hybrids but I know for a fact that young water oaks can have very oddly shaped leaves just like you your pictures, and willow oak can have lobes when they are immature.

How do you tell the difference between willow oak and laurel oak?

    RE: A hybrid oak???

Well I guess you know laurel oak in not native to your location, but the main difference is Laurel oak has wider leaves that are oval shaped and Willow oak has much more narrow leaves. Young immature or shaded willow oak leaves could possibly look look a little like Laurel oak leaves.

You can see the difference here:
    Laurel oak:

    Willow Oak:

Once you get used to looking at the leaf differences it's easy to tell the difference between them later.

willow oaks have very thin and long leaves compared to the laurel oaks. laurel oaks also seem to hold their leaves longer throughout the winter.
    peace to all
