Have no idea if this forum is even working. Been looking for quite some time, hopefully it's back and running! Found it by searching, would not show up at arborday.org. I finally went and visited the famous "Angel Oak" here in Charleston SC a couple years ago. This is a very old live oak(quercus virginiana) Here are some pics!
lol, never heard one called that. tree is estimated to be between 400-1500 years old. kind of a broad range of years.
Yeah, kind of a broad range of growth rates too for those trees. I called it a spaghetti tree because I looked at picture #3 and all I could think of was noodles.
