    Cool The Angel Oak

Have no idea if this forum is even working. Been looking for quite some time, hopefully it's back and running! Found it by searching, would not show up at arborday.org. I finally went and visited the famous "Angel Oak" here in Charleston SC a couple years ago. This is a very old live oak(quercus virginiana) Here are some pics!

lol, never heard one called that. tree is estimated to be between 400-1500 years old. kind of a broad range of years.

Yeah, kind of a broad range of growth rates too for those trees. I called it a spaghetti tree because I looked at picture #3 and all I could think of was noodles.
