    frost

    frost damage to japanazee maple now leaves have fell off. will it come back.

    Again, it depends Trees have a great instinct to release lateral buds (secondary) in case the terminal bud is damaged or removed. If your maple is in overall good health, it should bounce back. I noticed some frost damage on plants in my yard, but it doesn't seem as damaging as what you experienced. How long did your temps dip below freezing?

    I would think that your Japanese maple will be ok. One night of frost shouldn't casue too many problems.
