    Hampton Plantation

Took the family camping a couple weeks ago in Francis Marion(The Swamp Fox) National Forest and thought i'd share some pics from our trip.

    fishing in wambaw creek

    Old church!

the largest southern magnolia i think i've ever seen

apparently this tree was saved by George Washington!

old live oaks. just shedding leaves before spring growth.

^^^went lookin for firewood and found this water oak that was split perfectly down the center by fallen dead pine tree.
    peace to all

Thanks for posting and sharing your pictures, Nothing is more moving than seeing trees hundreds of years old and having distortions formed by weather.
