Young fruit trees sometimes need limb support when they are laden with fruit. As the tree gets older, the limbs should be of sufficient size and strength to hold up under the weight.

The new growth on the trees is spindly and weaker, thus the bending. Try propping them up with some sort of supports and they should be okay. I know people disagree on thinning fruit, but I'd suggest it in your case. It will help the smaller fruit get bigger and might help with the weight problem, too. It hurts to do it, but go through and pick off fruit, leaving ample space for the remaining ones to develop.

My peaches were superb this year! Big, sweet, and juicy and oh-so-delicious. We had a lot of rain through June, which really helped the fruit.

You might feel bad if you have to thin them but that's your best bet unless you can really gusset them up good. Even with the gussets every time the wind blows you scrape the bark and weak bark attracts borers. Leaving the tree full of immature fruit just adds too much wieght, All that's needed is a heavy thunderstorm and the tree risks a deadly split.

Same thing goes for the pear. The pear needs some branches removed, Pears bear fruit on spurs coming off the branches. If it's a young tree you can remove some of this years spurs as they won't bear fruit again. If you could find a good book on fruit silviculture that might help. Amazon has some good used books, I doubt a libary will be much help. We had a bartlett pear that was all suckers and hadn't been pruned in a while so I really went over it. Next year I picked three bushels from a former sickly tree. Pears are a pretty tough trees.

One of them when it split tore the bark down the side of the tree will it heal up. I removed the peaches and try to screw the limb back to the tree but it did not work so I just cut it off. I got the idea a garden show they had a dogwood limb split and they screwed it two hooks and put a cable and used bolts to to pull it together.

I saw a tree service company cable a Maple that had split in a storm,It was about 25ft tall and the fix took. After a few years of growth you could no longer see the bolts in the bark, Just the Cables. I'm sure your young trees will recover quickly.
