I hope someone can help me identify this tree on my property.
Some same it's a Blackjack Oak which I disagree with, I have several Blackjack oaks also in which they look nothing alike except for a simular but not exact leaf shape.

This is most definitely a Southern Red Oak (Quercus falcata). This species can sometimes exhibit shallow three-lobed leaves as in your pictures. Usually on the same tree (higher up in the canopy) they have much longer, deeper lobed leaves, with the central lobe being falcate (curved).

Thanks for your reply. Im confused on how the leaves are not stiff or crispy like I guess you would say.. They have a smooth light cloth like feeling. Can this still be Quercus falcata?
