I just planted a tree and I don't know what it is. I live in SE Kentucky. I have searched the web, but haven't found this particular leaf. Just wondering what it is and if it will be a good tree for the yard. Thanks, David

Looks like a White Mulberry (Morus alba)

This tree is native to China. Before the American Revolution the British introduced it into the southeastern American Colonies in order to feed silkworms. That attempt to establish a silk industry failed. [1]

Then you should also know that it's highly invasive and should be removed.
