View Full Version : canopy diameter in ten years

Hello, I am brand new to this community. I am working for an environmental center in Indiana where we're currently installing a new graywater system to irrigate fruit trees. To design the system I need to know the approximate area under the canopy after about ten years of growth in that location(ten years in addition to the age they are when actually purchased, which would be about ten?) I've found info on Arbor Day's database, but not enough. I was wondering if anyone knew or had experience and could tell me the diameters for the following trees at or around twenty years of age.

Apple: yellow or red delicious, or early harvest
Chanticleer Pear
Black cherry Tartarian
Elberton Peach
and Pecan

Thank you so much.

OR could you tell me at what age these trees mature? and then I'll be able to calculate an estimate with the information on Arbor Day's database.

Try plants.usda.gov, they should have information about mature size of those species.
