I have ordered a prairiefire crabapple (3'-4' high) and a washington hawthorn (2'-3' high) oh, and also 3 hardy almond trees (2'-3' high) coming this spring. I know the almond trees don't produce nuts until 3-5 years old. Does anyone know how old the crab and hawthorn have to be before they produce flowers and berries?

As a rule of thumb, standard fruit trees and flowering trees will not reach sexual maturity for 4-6 years. It also depends on the site and the individual tree.
